I wanted to share information regarding “Interrupted School Days”. You may be seeing some discussion on social media platforms regarding these. “An Interrupted Day is when the district has provided at least 1 hour of instruction but must close prior to providing five hours of instruction due to a condition beyond the control of the school district that poses a hazardous threat to the health and safety of students and staff.” This basically means that the day would not need to be made up. I wanted to get this information out to everyone in case such a situation should arise. At this time, we are not
planning on dismissing school early this week. In the future, if we would call an interrupted School Day, an all-call would be sent out from the district as well as being posted online. We would also contact local radio channels and News Channel 20. Our hope is to be prepared just in case we should ever need to use this procedure. If you have any questions, please feel free to call the office at 217-675-2395.

Starting after Labor Day, Mrs. Rachel Carlock will be spending 1st hour on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with our 6th graders and 7th graders. Her program is called "Too Good for Drugs." If you have any questions, please contact the High School Office.

*HS & JH XC will practice 6:15-7:30 AM this week. Waverly bus will leave at 6:00 AM.
*JHSB practices will remain after school, and will be outside if possible, inside if necessary.
*Football practice Tuesday-Thursday will be before school. Transportation details will be issued soon!!
