Congratulations to our own Mikah Ribble & Thaddeus Bergschneider, who are two of 62,000 students from across the country to earn academic honors from the College Board’s National Recognition Programs! These National Recognition Programs grant underrepresented students with academic honors that can be included on college and scholarship applications and connect students with universities across the country, helping them stand out during the admissions process. Colleges and scholarship programs use these honors to identify students from underrepresented groups through College Board’s Student Search Service. Students who may be eligible have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and have excelled on the PSAT/NMSQT or PSAT 10, or earned a score of 3 or higher on two or more AP Exams; and are African American or Black, Hispanic American or Latinx, Indigenous, and/or attend school in a rural area or small town. Eligible students are invited to apply during their sophomore or junior year, and are awarded at the beginning of the next school year.

Yearbooks for the 2021-22 school year are currently available for pick-up and can still be purchased for $60. We would like for everyone to keep in mind that availability for some of the food items that we order are a little different this year. We will not always know if they still have the same items through the whole month. We will do our best to keep everyone updated if there are any changes to the menu as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued support.

2021-22 Yearbooks are now ready for students to pick up from the school starting Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. during school hours. There are also extra yearbooks available for those who did not purchase online. The cost is $60 per book. The purchase link for the 2022-23 yearbooks will be available soon and will be at a discounted price for a limited time.

Reminder: HS cross country starts practice on Monday, August 8 at FHS from 5:30-7:30pm. It’s not too late to join the team. Any questions can be directed to Coach Courier at jcourier@franklinhigh.com.
