Both south county boats advance to state. Boat captain John Williams with fishers Josiah Bullard and Carson Ford take 3rd with a weight of 13.47 pounds. Josiah Bullard won big bass with a 5.8 lb bass. Boat captain Seth Hill with fisherman Owen DeRosear and Austin Becker took 7th with 11.81 pounds. Both teams advance to state June 6th and 7th.
Report cards are now available in TeacherEase for all students.

Notice of Public Meeting
On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 3:45 p.m., a meeting conducted by Franklin C.U.S.D. # 1 will take place at Franklin High School in the Media Room. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the district’s plan for providing special education services to students with disabilities who attend private schools and home schools within the district for the 2025-2026 school year. If you are a parent of a home-schooled student who has been or may be identified with a disability and you reside within the boundaries of Franklin C.U.S.D.# 1, you are urged to attend. If you have any questions pertaining to this meeting, please contact Jeff Waggener at 217-675-2395.
Friday, May 9th we celebrated our graduating seniors on their Signing Day! Let's give a shout-out to the incredible accomplishments and bright futures ahead for each and every one of them.

Greenhouse sale!
South County Bass fishing team got second place at the A-C Central Tournament at lake Jacksonville. Team members were Josiah Bullard and Garrett Wells. Boat captain was Andrew Bullard.
