This is a reminder that students in grades 3-5 will be taking the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) this week. If you have any question on testing times, please reach out to your child's' teacher.
Q3 report cards were sent home with K-12 students today. Also MAP data was sent home with 6-12 students along with the report card.

In coordination with area school districts, we are asking students and staff to wear purple and gold tomorrow to show support of our friends from Rushville/Schuyler county schools -who suffered an unthinkable tragedy yesterday.

Junior High Snowflake Dance tonight from 7-9:30pm

Students in grades 5, 8 & 11 will be taking the Illinois Science exam tomorrow, March 6th. Students in 8th and 11th grade need to make sure chromebooks are fully charged and to bring their chargers with them. Testing will take place throughout the day.

The Franklin Elementary K-5 fundraiser for the AHA (jump rope for heart was the original name) is still going on! We will continue running the fundraiser until MARCH 8th. Please contact Mr. Christian Bonjean, Mr. Adam Johnson, or a student in grades K-5 for more information!
The Franklin board approved the amended school calendar for 23-24. The amended calendar reflects the emergency days used as of 2-28-24.

Good afternoon. This afternoon the fire alarm went off at the Jr-Sr High Complex. The faculty followed our evacuation procedures as practiced and all students were evacuated safely. As the administration responded to the alerted area, we did not see any evidence of fire or smoke. We will be following up with our service contractor immediately. At no time were our students or staff in danger. I want to commend our teachers and students for their prompt and safe evacuation.
