You can read more about the project in tomorrow's edition of the Journal-Courier."

Good afternoon. This afternoon the fire alarm went off at the Jr-Sr High Complex. The faculty followed our evacuation procedures as practiced and all students were evacuated safely. As the administration responded to the alerted area, we did not see any evidence of fire or smoke. We will be following up with our service contractor immediately. At no time were our students or staff in danger. I want to commend our teachers and students for their prompt and safe evacuation.

8th grade students visited the Jacksonville Public Library to conduct research for their World War II Project!
