Just a reminder that tomorrow, our first day of school, is a regular attendance day. The doors open at 7:45 at the high school for student arrival. East students will dismiss at 3:00, Elementary will dismiss at 3:05 and the Jr/Sr high will dismiss at 3:10. We are excited to see everyone!!

Good morning everyone. The Board of Education met Tuesday evening and finalized the Return to Learn Plan. You can find the guidelines on the district website or link below. First day of student attendance will be Wednesday, August 18th. This will be a regular dismissal day. The narrative calendar has been updated to reflect this change. (Formally an early dismissal) Kindergarten orientation will be August 16th, at 6:00 pm. Meet the Teacher night for grades K-5 will be August 17th, from 5:00 – 6:30 pm. Chromebook distribution for grades 6-12 will be August 17th, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the high school. If you can’t make that time, students will be able to pick up on Wednesday morning when they arrive at school. Just a reminder that Franklin Schools are a "First Day Exclusion" district. This means that we require all students who need a physical and up to date record of immunization to submit them to the office by the first day of school or else your child will not be able to attend. This is for grades PK, Kindergarten, 6th and 9th. Eye and dental exams have later due dates but you may submit them to the office at anytime prior to the required date. Yearbooks for the 2020-21 school year are now available to pick up! If you have already purchased a book, you can stop by the school on Thursday, August 12 or Friday, August 13 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. to pick it up! Students can also pick up their books when we return to school. If you'd like to purchase last year's book still, please contact Mrs. Black at eblack@franklinhigh.com. The price for the 2020-21 books is $55. The 2021-22 yearbooks are currently on sale for $55. The link to purchase these books is available on the school website. The price will go to $60 on September 18.

Just a reminder that sign up for the FALL Trap season has opened! There will be a separate registration in the spring for the spring season. This registration is for the fall season only. 'Meet the Teacher' night for all elementary students in grades K-5 will be on Tuesday, August 17th from 5-6:30. Come and meet your new teacher and drop off your supplies. We are very excited to begin a new school year and can't wait to see our kids!! PK students and their families will have an open house day where you can visit the classroom on Monday, August 23rd. More information will come to you from Mrs. Purdue as time gets nearer.

Kindergarten Orientation will be held on Monday, August 16th at 6pm at East Grade for parents who have children entering Kindergarten this fall.
