On the bus from Franklin to Alexander, where we started.

Getting ready to start the long trek.

We started out all together, but some of us are faster than
others.

Waving those flags!

It's important to keep your arms moving.

Some more flag waving.

Mrs. Crow, Mrs. Rust, and Mr. Patty: our adult walkers.

I guess I can stop for a picture.

Taking their time.

Most of us walk forward, others backward.

Who came up with this smart idea for a walk-a-thon?

Flags flying proud.

Time to stop and catch our breath.

Aren't we supposed to be walking?

After walking half-way you have to sit down and recooperate.

Keep on walking.

Some people tried to make it a team effort.

Soaked after someone decided to poor water on her.

It was a windy day, but it was blowing from behind pushing us all the way.

Mrs. Quimby rides in style as we walk beside.

Still recovering.

We're almost there, aren't we?

The front of the pack carrying the American flag.

Walkers wore ribbons to show there support for the victims & rescue
works.

Some people need a little help to make it all the way.

What is he doing?
