T.Ball
I know they told me I'd never play
again,
But I couldn't take it.
Just one more spike, one more 3-pointer,
one more home run,
Was all I ever wanted,all I ever
asked for,
And did I ever get it.
I had a disease, a competitive disease,
Everything was a game, a competition.
As a child the ball became my best
friend.
We began to know each other's every
move,
Then I made one wrong move.
My dreams shattered,
My heart broken,
My soul vanished.
