Amanda Seymour
Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis took
over my life.
But not as much as Diabetes did.
I lived day to day, off of shots.
I had many enemies come and go.
It seemed that my best friend in
the whole world was my medicine.
Doctors approached me, and concluded
that I was simply weird.
They did not know if JRA or Diabetes
were the cause of my problems,
Or if I had a new discovery taking
over my body.
I lived my life full of fear.
My biggest fear was that I would
not react to my "friend."
As time went by there was one day
That I did react to my "friend,"
For it could help me no longer!
