• I recommend this book because I think it is an inspiring story. I like this book because it is an interesting story. It’s about a boy who came to live in the wild and builds a cabin with his dad. Then his dad leaves to go get the rest of the family. Then Matt has to survive on his own, without anyone else. Will his dad come back? Attean (an Indian boy) is my favorite character. He helps Matt a lot. The setting is in a forest in Maine. My favorite part is when he gets to go to the feast in the Indian village. I learned that living in the outdoors could be very fun and exciting.
