• Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is about scary stories that will interest you. This book is for any age. It has many short stories. I remember a couple I will never forget. You have to remember that they ‘re not all scary. They can be funny. You can buy this for a young kid because it is a fabulous book. In this short story the Viper has a problem with pronouncing words so he has to put the V sound in words. He calls a woman, and says, “Van I vipe vour vindows.” So the woman locked up. The man said on the telephone, I will be there in a minute. She was really scared. The guy called her again and said, “ I’m here.” So she opened the door, and there was a little man there holding a bucket. He said “I vish to vipe the vindows.” In that story he was just trying to wipe the windows. See that was not scary. Buy this book and you will have the thrill of your life but don’t get me wrong there are spooky stories in one of the three books. They would not be called Scary Stories
