Misty of Chincoteague

I recommend this book (Misty of Chincoteague) because I thought it was a good book. I thought it was a good book because I like horses, and this story is all about horses. This story is about two kids who catch a famous wild horse known for her white map of the United States on her withers. Paul and Maureen catch her and find out something about the wild horse. Then to have her legally, they have to have enough money to buy her. But can they collect enough money to buy her.

This story takes place about 1950 and is on the islands off of the coast of Virginia, Chincoteague and Assasatuegue. This story is somewhat based on a true story.

I learned from this story that you can’t always get what you want.

I agree with what Rachel wrote but she could have added how Paul and his sister Maureen come to find Misty and tell a little bit of the history on how the horses got to the islands! But I like how she tells what the children had to do to get Misty. Over all she did a good review.
