• I recommend this book if you like to read a book that has you interested by the first couple of pages. I liked how the author keeps you wanting to read the book to find out what is going to happen next. This book is about a serial rapist-killer that was just paroled after a few years in prison. He was able to continue what he did before he was arrested. My favorite character was Paul Garret, who survived being shot in the face twice by the killer. The setting is in a town in New York and the near- by countryside. My favorite part is when the killer is finally shot to death. I learned that you should never assume that you are safe from bad people just because of where you live and what you do.
