Thirteen Little Blue Envelopes

  • 13 Little Blue Envelopes, the tales of teenage girl's travel to Europe, will leave the reader wanting to know more. Virginia Blackstone is seventeen when she receives a large package containing thirteen blue envelopes, from her aunt. The problem is, her aunt is dead. The first letter includes money for a passport and plane ticket to London, and a list of things she can't bring or do while in Europe. She may open the next letter after she has completed the task in the previous letter. Some of the tasks she must do, lead her to trouble while others let her learn more facts about her aunt she never knew. This trip brings her to some rather random people and some she will never forget. The book shows, that sometimes you have to experience something before you can grasp the full meaning of the lesson taught.
