The Clique: The Pretty Committee Strikes Back

• The Clique: The Pretty Committee Strikes Back is a very good book. It is my very favorite out of the Clique series. It is a story of 4 friends who go on a school trip to Lake Placid with the neighboring boy school, Briarwood. Massie Block, the main character is determined to get her first kiss from her crush, Derrington. Claire, Massie’s best friend, is also determined to get a kiss from her ex-boyfriend, Cam. Cam broke up with Clair after he caught Clair kissing Josh Hotz. She was only kissing Josh because she thought that cam liked another girl. She wants so bad to win him back, and she does. Alicia is upset with Claire for kissing her crush, Josh. Alicia is jealous and plays evil tricks on Claire to warn her to stay away from Josh. Dylan’s mom has decided to join all of the children on the trip. She has brought a camera crew, so that she can film a new episode for her talk show. But, Dylan finds her mom hanging out with the dorky teacher that is leading the field trip. This makes Dylan so mad, that she and her clique run into the woods and get lost. They finally find their way out of the woods to find their principal. The principal expels all the girls because they ran into the woods.
