Unit or Theme: Art and Music of the Twentieth Century, J.H. Art

Objectives: _The students will be able to find and identify Art and

Music of the Twentieth Century.

State Standards Met: 25.A.3e, 26.A.3e, 27.B.3

Art Materials needed: pencil, computer, ditto

Resources: CD-Rom: Art and Music of the Twentieth Century

Time: approx. 2- 40 minute sessions

Procedure-Steps:

1. Explain C-D Rom and assignment.

2. Get in groups of two. Hand out scavenger hunt ditto (attached). Each

group sits at a computer.

3. The students will go through the tour and answer the questions as

they go filling in the blanks with the best answer, spelling correctly,

and learning about art and music in the twentieth century.

4. The students will hand in the ditto.

Culmination of Lesson: As a class we will go over the ditto and discuss

the tour.

Evaluation: The ditto will be worth 80 pts.(each answer being worth 2

pts.)
